Reviewed Item: Trespassing (Album) by Adam Lambert

This sophmore CD is a mix of very high energy Michael Jackson/rock/Euro pop, except for the last couple of tracks. It has a strong bass back beat that is not something to which I generally gravitate. The few ballads are hauntingly beautiful and they perfectly exact the breadth of his vocal range. I think he is still trying to find his niche as demonstrated by this departure from his first CD; I am really looking forward to his next CD. All this being said, I just saw him live on 7-27-12 for the first time (have always been a fan) at Winstar Casino in Oklahoma. He was having such a good time on stage, mostly doing work from his second CD, that it made this new CD come alive for me. Now I listen to it with new ears. I suggest you buy it if only to see his talent progression. And make sure you get the Deluxe version!
