I didn't exactly follow him and that particular TV show but when I saw this new album on Amazon with the eye catching cover, I couldn't resist listening to the sample. That got me hooked and my money hooked outta my wallet too. There are plenty of idols, sorry singers, out there with an album, what makes him different is that this is no music that is preppy or poppy. This is really MUSIC to me. Also note that if you buy the album, that digital pdf does not contain any mention of the lyrics, just the usual photos, thanks to and credit.
