Goes without saying that the vocals on this album are out of this world, but the production is also stellar. My current favorites are Kickin In (very Prince-like but with a modern spin) and Shady, a track featuring Sam Sparro and Nile Rodgers. Listen with headphones to fully appreciate all the quirky, atmospheric layers on tracks like Chokehold and Broken English reminiscent of Depeche Mode back in the Alan Wilder days. Great stuff here from a truly unique artist.
