Adam's got awesome dancers, a rocking band, lasers!, fabulous costumes, but most of all, he's got a killer voice. I saw Adam's Glam Nation show four times and was continually blown away by Adam's incredible vocals and exciting showmanship. Buy this CD/DVD to relive your memories of this amazing tour over and over. And if you didn't get to go to the concert, you definitely must buy it so you can experience the magic of Adam performing LIVE. THIS is how you put on a show!

Fabulous package from Glam Tour

This DVD/CD is amazing....I went to two of his concerts last summer with my daughter and a friend of hers...This man has a truly amazing voice...and amazing performance quality. He also is breathtakingly beautiful. The CD and DVD give you an idea what his Glam Tour concert was like....so much fun...The audiences were very diverse...and it was like a big party....If you love a gifted voice...that does not need editing ...autotuning....then you will love this package deal of his live performance. My only issue with it is I wish he had chosen one of the concerts where he did Wanna Whole Lotta Love...like the Foxwood concert...that was truly amazing rendition of that classic rock song...But this is such a fun DVD and CD set....wonderful

These days it seems like so much pop music is autotuned and engineered that all life and reality is drained out of it. Then, along comes Adam Lambert to turn the industry on its head. Listening to the CD it is easy to think it is another crafted studio production piece with an added fake audience track. Not because it is lifeless, but because it is that good, that polished, that flawless! This was recorded one night about three months into a grueling national/international tour. No combining of the best of 10 concerts shot. No second takes. No studio magic. No editing except for camera angles and the brief pauses between some numbers (for the audience to go crazy.) This guy performed these vocals this amazingly, live!
The impressive range we have come to expect with Lambert is there. The soaring vocals. The rock edge. The high energy. The jaw-dropping ballads. The flawless delivery. The sense of joy and fun. It sounds too good to be live -- but it is. Then, when you watch the DVD you add the showmanship, the costumes, the dancers, the staging, the audience interaction, the camp, and the non-stop momentum. All this from a new artist on his first head-lining tour, off his first album.
This guy is the real deal! The effortlessness of the performance comes from many years of rigorous vocal training and performance experience on musical theater stages, in underground indie clubs, on the set of reality TV, and even on vacation cruise ships. He has paid his dues, he knows his craft and it shows.
Lambert is going to have a long and successful career. We are lucky to have this performance available as a baseline for where he will go and what he will do. And to show other pop singers how it is done. Bravo!

American Idol has coined a few bankable acts: Kelly (the pop star), Carrie (the country star), Daughtry (the rocker) and Jennifer (the Oscar winner) - but Adam Lambert is the show's first shot at a global rock superstar (right up there with Bowie, Bono, Prince, Steven Tyler). Well, he's there in talent, showmanship, attitude and style. Sales of his debut were respectable (805,000) - but not nearly close to his potential. This release should propel him forward. The vocals are meatier, the guitars are more blistering, the beats more intense. This concert plays like an amped-up greatest hits package (power to just how good For Your Entertainment was). The International Edition's bonus tracks are thrust into the spotlight to kick off the show. Voodoo is see-ductive and Rabbit Hole is even more playful and powerful than the original version (which sadly did not work as well as an acoustic version on his last EP).
The DVD is incredibly shot, on par with my favorites from Prince (Sign O The Times Live) and Talking Heads (Stop Making Sense). It's quite the simple show: four stellar dancers who are never overused like in the typical Britney show; out of the box lasers; a sparingly used projection backdrop. The music and performance take center stage - and wow is it mesmerizing. The colors are spectacular - it lights up the entire room.
I missed the tour when it rolled though town, but thanks to this DVD, I feel like I was a part of it all. And to have a CD-quality sound recording is a total treat. This will get me through the long year until Adam's next album drops.

"Glam Nation Live" DVD Review: "Best live album I've ever heard!"

"Adam Lambert has a phenomenal voice but live it is even better, and I have never said that about another singer ever! Most live albums are poorly done. Bad sound, too much crowd noise and singers too used to not performing up to recording standards, relying on fans excitement to ignore bad pitch and slurring of lyrics. Adam is not like that. In fact a few of the songs I think are better than on the original album! I hope Mr. Lambert produces more live albums from his many many tours to come!
And I love a man in makeup, can't beat it! And someone who revels in their individuality and sexuality and can influence a whole new generation in being proud in themselves as they are and not as others want them to be! Kudos!! I can only hope my son will become as sure and proud of himself as you are!
Love you Adam Lambert, may you have many many more successful years!!"
